Having made the journey up from Worcestershire, I'm delighted to say, from the moment I arrived, your brilliant club didn't disappoint. Everyone was so friendly and the course was in superb condition. Credit to all your staff. A special place.
Merchants of Edinburgh Golf Club is in the heart of Edinburgh close to the city centre near to all travel links. The course was originally designed by Ben Sayers in 1907 and altered by James Braid in 1936. The course is challenging and fun, boasting fantastic views across Fife, the Lothians and many of Edinburgh’s historic landmarks.
Our course is open to members, guests and visitors. All tee times must be booked in advance. Visitors book a tee time through the Visitor Online booking link below or call the Professional on 0131 447 1219 (option 4) for tee availability.
A modern south-facing clubhouse was built in 2001 looking towards the Pentland Hills. The clubhouse offers first class facilities and catering for members and visitors alike. By arrangement the clubhouse is also available for hire for functions, small conferences and workshops.
